So there we were again and it was time to plan the next few days, because actually we wanted to explore the island further. We looked at the reception to see what was offered, but somehow there was nothing for us there. So we postponed the topic once again to later, as we were arranged for a video call with Jackie. For this we made ourselves comfortable on beanbags in the yoga pavilion and chatted with her for a while.

Seb had signed up for diving yesterday, so he disappeared into the water again today. This time with Made (not our driver Made), as Komang had stayed at home sick.

Seb's Dive Report

I was very happy about the possibility to be able to dive a few more times here. For this dive too, I decided for the house reef again. There is simply so much to see here and always something new to discover. One doesn't have to drive anywhere else. Before the dive, Made went through the plan with me once more, where we wanted to dive along and that there could eventually be a drift. We wanted to use this then to let ourselves drift through the reef back to the entrance.

And off we went into the water. First back to the clownfish family and then further towards the large Buddha statues. Shortly before, we got into the current and let ourselves drift back. But there was also a lot to see this time again: from scorpionfish to huge sponges to only few millimeters small nudibranchs and even sea spiders. At the end, while during the safety stop, a moray eel still waited for us and presented itself beautifully in front of the camera. Only the pink skunk anemonefish again didn't want to go in front of the camera. But it was a great dive nonetheless, even if the current becomes stronger and thereby the visibility slowly worse.

Shortly after we went for a round of snorkeling. Since the current was still decent, we simply let ourselves drift from one entry to the next and enjoyed the plant and animal world underwater.

Afterwards I bobbed with my book at the pool and enjoyed the peace. Had I already known what becomes of the weather yet, I would surely have gone into the sea a second time. Later I treated myself to a manipedi in the spa area. Combined with an arm, hand, leg, and foot massage, that was really very pleasant. However, the ladies still have to work a little on their ability to apply the nail polish. In several places the color went clearly over the edge.

Towards afternoon the wind increased somewhat and therefore we strolled towards the main street and visited the large supermarket. For us this is rather a larger kiosk, but in the end one gets more or less everything there. However, one can only pay cash here. Silly.

Google Maps also told us that there should still be a café on the street. This we then found – however empty and deserted. As unfortunately much here in the corner.

In the evening it was off to the hotel restaurant again. In addition, relaxation on the terrace before it went for us, in a clean bed, into the land of dreams.
