Only 800m through the beach desert to reach the beach. It's a miracle we weren't eaten alive.

Unfortunately, it was still gray outside this morning. So we decided not to dawdle over breakfast and to get on the road.

It's so wonderful to have the beach entirely to ourselves in the morning.

When we woke up this morning, the sky was still gray and we could see light showers in the distance. Nevertheless, we had a full day planned.

Thankfully, the rain had stopped this morning. Unfortunately, it was still quite gray and chilly.

We had some good luck this morning. We quickly found a quiet, free parking spot close to my office. This allowed us to use the toilets and showers there. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperating. It looked like rain all day, and it did occasionally start drizzling.
